« How The Byzantines Saved Civilization | Main | The Loner In All Of Us » 18 Apr 2007 03:00 pm Cho Seung Hui in Hindsight[Ross] I was initially inclined to agree with Megan, and dismiss the notion that the Virginia Tech tragedy should have been averted by, say, an alert creative-writing teacher as a classic case of hindsight bias. Maybe I still do - but the more I read, the more it seems like somebody should have done, well, more than they did to protect themselves and others from Cho Seung Hui, and protect him from himself.
