Targeting The Military Lawyers

15 May 2007 10:28 am

The Pentagon's war against the military lawyers who have stood up to the illegal and sometimes criminal detainee policies of the Bush administration continues. Scott Horton has the latest on Lieutenant Commander Matthew Diaz, being court-martialed for complying with the law in mailing a list of Gitmo detainees to a New York law firm. Now's also a good time to recall the long and inspiring story of Lieutenant Commander Charles Swift. There are many men of integrity in the US military. A pity the Bush administration is determined to root them out.
