Face Of The Day

Wallchipsomodevillagetty

Vietnam veteran Lyle Hurley of Woodbridge, Virginia is reflected in the Vietnam Veterans Memorial during ceremonies to mark The Wall's 25th anniversary on the National Mall November 7, 2007 in Washington, DC. Hurley stated, 'all the names mean so much' to him and that he was real sorry that he was 'here and they are not.' Organizers commemorated the 25th anniversary with 'The Reading of the Names,' the four-day event during which the over 58,000 names inscribed on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial are read aloud. For the fourth time in The Wall's history all of the names were read in Washington, D.C. By Chip Somodevilla/Getty Images.
