Obama On The Culture War

He made the same "bitter" point in 2004:

I see less condescension than empathy. In fact, I see a disdain for elite condescension. And nothing like the fathomless cynicism of Clinton. The latter is now front and center:

I'm in Allentown, PA. Out here among my fellow parents with young children, the only undecideds are those who were originally for Hillary but are being drawn to Obama.  And a lot of them are really torn. They didn't expect to have to make this choice.

If the 'bitter' controversy has done anything it's made it easier for them to vote for Obama.   Hillary handing out 'I'm not bitter' buttons is so craven that she's been exposed, pretty much unequivocally, as someone who will do anything to win. She's taking a heap of abuse, at least among my circle---and like I say, a goodly number of them WERE on the fence.

We'll see.
