They Do Not Torture Either

The current president has indeed redefined prisoner abuse the world over. Here's John McCain's former Hanoi Hilton interrogator talking to the BBC:

"I can confirm to you that we never tortured him. We never tortured any prisoners."

McCain was subjected to "enhanced interrogation". Right, Mr vice-president? McCain's claims of torture were enemy propaganda:

"He did not tell the truth. But I can somehow sympathise with him. He lies to American voters in order to get their support for his presidential election."

And the US will claim that its stress positions are not torture, but that the North Vietnamese version were? Maybe John Yoo can explain.
