McCain Focuses On Afghanistan
He's packaging it as a "surge", according to Eli Lake. I'm not sure how the tactics of Iraq can be transferred that easily to the remote mountains of Afghanistan, but the new focus is good news, and further narrows the gap with Obama. These two candidates are converging.
