The title of JPod's latest screed is a treat. I had to look it up on Wikipedia. Here's what it says:

The Dearborn Independent, a/k/a The Ford International Weekly, was a weekly newspaper established in 1901, but published by Henry Ford from 1919 through 1927. It was notorious for its sensationalist content, and its publication in English of the Protocols of the Elders of Zion... The paper reached a circulation of 900,000 by 1925 (only the New York Daily News was larger in this respect), largely due to promotion by Ford dealers due to a quota system. Lawsuits regarding the anti-Semitic material caused Ford to close the paper, the last issue being published in December 1927.

So without providing any argument that there was anything in the relevant post that could even faintly qualify as vile anti-Semitic slander of the Protocols variety, I am once again called a Jew-baiter for criticizing myself and neoconservatism. Go read the post and make your own mind up. (On the same day he accuses me of this, I might add, I posted this and this.) Some of his points are worth addressing - and I will in due course. But it is important to note up-front when McCarthyite slurs of bigotry are spread around like so much confetti. It cheapens them - and Commentary.
