The View From Your Election

A reader writes:

I'm a young female Iranian professional living in Chicago, who is very angry and frustrated right now and here is why: I went to vote today, but there were no ballots available. Apparently they only had "500" ballots for the Chicago region. The Iranian expat community here in Chicago is not as large as LA but it is definitely in the thousands. I had heard the rumors that the hard-liners have told their supporters to vote early in the morning because they were expecting difficulties in the afternoon. I should also say that I have voted in the last election, and there were no problems with ballots then.

Hmmm.
