Time To Apologize To Napolitano?, Ctd

A reader writes:

Sager's timeline is off: the Unitarian Church shooting in TN occurred in summer of 2008.  Thus it doesn't belong second in a chronological evidentiary chain following the much more recent murder of Tiller. This does little to diminish his point that Napolitano and DHS were justified in issuing the warning about domestic terrorism.

Thoreau makes a related point:

Statistically, of course, these two shootings are barely blips in crime statistics.  Socially, however, they are high profile incidents that keep the crazies in the news.  Remember the Clinton administration, with people opening fire on the White House, and a plane hitting the White House?  It seems that the crazies are back in the news.  They don’t need to be statistically significant to grab headlines.
