In head-to-head polls with President Barack Obama, Palin consistently fares worse than other possible Republican candidates because of her divisiveness. If Palin is nominated, Obama has a much better chance of winning reelection in November 2012.

[H]ow many voters are that politically savvy and motivated? but it’s such an article of faith among lefties that Palin would be cannon fodder for Obama that you might see a little grassroots groundswell for this idea come 2012.
